When administering to cats, it may be challenging to use a full capsule due to their small body weight, or they may not like swallowing large capsules. Our capsules are size #00. Some customers may choose to open the capsule, pour out the powder, and refill it into smaller capsules. We kindly remind you to avoid doing this!

The reasons are as follows:

1. TCMVET Baituxiao contains sticky ingredients like Rehmannia root and Frankincense. During the manufacturing process, strict control of temperature, humidity, and equipment dryness is required to successfully fill the powder into the capsules.
2. If you open the capsule at home without controlling the temperature and humidity, and if you directly touch the powder with your hands (temperature, humidity, without wearing gloves), it can easily become sticky, making it difficult to refill into smaller capsules.
3. If you open the capsule and find that the powder inside has solidified, this is due to temperature changes during transportation, as the powder is sensitive to heat. However, this does not affect its quality or effectiveness.

Repackaging Guide:

1. If your pet has a small body weight and can only take half a capsule at a time, please open the capsule and pour half of the powder into their favorite food. Reseal the capsule for the next use.
2. You can also dissolve the powder in warm water. For example, if your pet can only take half a capsule, dissolve one capsule in 2ml of water (or slightly more if needed). Feed your pet 1ml of the solution to provide half a dose. Store the remaining 1ml in a cool, dry place, sealed, or in the refrigerator. The powder dissolves well in water. If you want to dissolve more powder for use over several days, store the solution in a sealed container.
